Strap in for the Silver City Quarter Midget Club's four-week Novice School, where young drivers evolve from learning the blend line to battling it out in 10-lap mock races! It’s the ultimate, hands-on starting grid to build speed, skill, and confidence before the green flag drops on the real racing season.

At a Glance

✓ Progressive Four-Week Curriculum: The program carefully advances drivers from learning basic track safety and walking the track in Week 1 to competing in full 10-lap mock races by Weeks 3 and 4.
✓ Tailored Skill Groups: Instruction is split between Junior Novice (morning sessions starting at 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM) and Advanced Novice (mid-day sessions starting at 11:00 AM) to ensure appropriate pacing.
✓ Hands-On Driving Techniques: Instructors focus heavily on foundational and competitive skills, including understanding the racing "groove," executing pedal tests, and mastering "tap & pass" drills.
✓ Complete Race-Day Readiness: Beyond steering and speed, the school teaches critical racing protocols like flagging signals and single-to-double file lineup drills, while also involving families in learning how to set up the facility for race day
