HOW IT WORKS

Pill Draws will all be manual, meaning the drivers will choose sticks and the number they pull will seed them either into their Heat or Main (pre-qualified drivers).  Highest pill number receives the higher starting position. There will be no inverts at all that weekend - drivers will place by pill and qualify straight into the Mains.
 

For drivers who are not pre-qualified their finish in the heat Saturday is what determines IF and WHERE they start in the A Main Sunday. For example : a class/division has 4 pre-qualified drivers with a max of 10 drivers per main...6 drivers from the heats will qualify in (driver finishing P1 will start p5 in the main, p2 will start p6, etc.). There will be an "X" car (this is the 1st car that does not make the main based on heat finish) that will be prepared to race if someone else can not take the green flag.  The number of open transfers spots will differ based on class/division.
 

Pre-qualified drivers will participate in a 3min controlled practice by class/division on Sunday morning.  Only pre-qualified drivers are allowed to participate in this practice.

*A list of all of these drivers will be provided the Monday before the race (as spots are still open until the race before) so if there is an error, the family has time to reach out and confirm that their driver is/is not pre-qualified.  Drivers earn this spot by winning (p1) any Main throughout the season - it does not matter if it is a points or non-points race - as well as being the #1 overall Monza winner from Racingpalooza (this is just the OVERALL winner, winning one leg does not qualify your driver).
 

Jr. Novices : Jr. novices will most likely ALL need to run a heat race. There are only 8 spots available for the A Main so with more than 8 Jr. Red winners still participating in this class, they will have to earn their spot. More information will be provided when the race gets closer and numbers are finalized.
